Well, it’s that time again. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is upon us. We know how busy you are this time of year so we like to make things a little easier. Beginning today, December 8 through Tuesday, December 23 we will be open extended hours to help give you more time to check things off your to-do list.
For those days we will be open Monday – Friday 9:00 – 7:00, Saturday 9:00 – 5:00, and Sunday 1:00 – 4:00.
And don’t worry about finding the right sized boxes. We’ll pack up all those Christmas treasures for you and ensure nothing gets broken.
Don’t forget, the earlier you ship, the greater your chances of having your packages arrive on time without resorting to shipping via air.
And also remember, we don’t just pack and ship small packages. We do large freight, too. Take a look at the beauties we’ll be shipping out today:

It’s hard to believe Christmas is just five weeks from now!
We know how busy this time of year can be for you. We’re here to help. Bring us all your gifts and we’ll be sure they get to the right destination safely and on time.
Let the pros at Pak Mail Anderson Mill do the packing for you as well as the shipping and you won’t have to worry about finding the right sized box or having the embarrassment of your carefully selected gifts arriving broken. Remember – if we pack it, it will be done properly and we’ll stand behind it. Guaranteed!
Don’t forget – weather can always be an issue this time of year, so ship as early as you can to ensure Christmas delivery. And, of course, if you wait until the last minute you’ll have to send it via air which is more expensive than ground. So early really is better.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving celebrations next week and get out there shopping and supporting the local economy!

How about a cool sculpture by artist Larry Jolly. We sent this to a juried art show in San Francisco.
Think of it as your brain on technology! 🙂

In the years since 2001, 9/11 has become known as Patriot Day. Please join Pak Mail Anderson Mill in commemorating this horrific day by honoring and paying tribute to our brave first responders and military heroes.
If you are a first responder (Police, Fire, EMS) or active duty military, anything you ship with us today, 9/11/14, will be FREE. It’s our way to show our appreciation for what you do to protect us very day and to say thank you for your service. So stop by and let us say thank you!
May God Bless You Richly!

This week we crated and shipped 500 lbs of Corian countertops for the University of Texas, shipped 170 lbs. of speakers and accessories to Inchon, South Korea, and facilitated the packing and shipping of some furniture from FL to one of our customers here in Austin.
We also shipped a display booth to a trade show in CA, some clothes, puzzles, and games to Indonesia, and, of course, our normal everyday packages and envelopes all around the country. We even did an on-site notary for a customer in the hospital.
So – what can we do for you? Just let us know – we’re here to serve you!

Ah, Summer! Time to relive our past and head down to the local soda fountain for a refreshing ice cream soda with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
Well, we can’t do that, but we did ship these antique soda fountain stools last week.
What do YOU need to ship today?

You may be wondering why we always ask you what’s in the box you’re shipping. Part of it is so we can assess the packaging needs to ensure your treasure is adequately protect from the rigors of the shipping system. Part of it is so we can add declared value coverage in the appropriate amount to protect you from the slight chance of loss or damage.
But there’s another reason as well – we are liable for what gets shipped out of our store. Here’s a link to an interesting article on the criminal indictment and multi-million dollar lawsuit facing FedEx these days. http://blogs.wsj.com/corporate-intelligence/2014/07/25/a-touchy-legal-question-for-fedex-ups-whats-in-the-box/
So, we’re not being nosy, we’re just trying to protect both of us!

So, the kids are off to camp and Mom & Dad are taking it easy, enjoying the hot weather. But come on, now. You know you miss them, even if they do make a mess of the house.
They won’t admit it, but they miss you, too. Send them a care package today and you’ll all feel better. Stop by Pak Mail Anderson Mill and we’ll pack up the snacks and goodies and get them shipped off for you. Don’t send chocolate, though, it will melt into a gooey mess in the Texas heat.
Stop by today and mention this posting for 15% OFF your UPS, FedEx, or LSO shipping. Sorry, USPS shipping is excluded.

…at Pak Mail to figure out the best way to pack and ship your items.
It’s a ways out yet, but FedEx has announced a significant change in how they determine the price of a Ground shipment. You can read the details here, but the bottom line is that lightweight packages in big boxes will be going up in price by quite a bit. And you can bet UPS will follow suit.
So, come to the experts at Pak Mail Anderson Mill and we’ll make sure to pack your items in the smallest size box that provides adequate protection to keep it safe. We’re here to take care of all your logistics needs in the most cost effective way possible!

By now you’ve all heard the horror stories about Christmas delivery delays. The biggest culprit, by far, in this mess was UPS. It’s been all over the national news and the internet.
Unlike many of our competitors, we offer a plethora of carriers to move our packages. Because we constantly monitor carrier performance, we were able to see the UPS debacle looming before it hit and we severely limited our use of that carrier during the holidays. Bacause of our proactive stance, we are proud to report only one instance of a late package – and that one was the postal service, over whom we have no control and never make any promises about delivery time.
So, the next time you need to ship something – across town or across the planet – stop by and see the pros at Pak Mail Anderson Mill. We’ll be sure to take good care of you. At Pak Mail, you’ve got choices!
